Get help for depression
It is natural for people to have emotions that ebb and flow. Everyone will feel sad and/or upset occasionally. When these feelings persist, and they adversely affect your daily life, you may be suffering from depression.
Depression might be affecting you or someone you know. Either way, it is important to realize that reaching out for help with depression is a sign of courage, not weakness.
As a counsellor and therapist, I help people to manage and recover from persistent low mood, negative thinking, or depression.
Depression support in Paddington and West London
I treat people in the safe and comfortable surroundings of the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in W2. My approach is not to force a prescriptive counselling framework over the top of a unique situation, but to respond to material that emerges in each counselling session.
Issues can be deconstructed in an organic and authentic way led by you, at your pace. The approach and the work I do provides tools to help:
cope when you feel the onset of depression, and
break the chain of persistent depression.
Sessions can be arranged in person or online. They are confidential, and the treatment will be personal to you.
The effects of depression can be mitigated with the right treatment
Your well-being can be improved with the right support. Research indicates that the symptoms of depression can be effectively treated with various forms of counselling and psychotherapy.
